This series consists of pastoral lease number cards for the Northern Territory using the South Australian system. The cards record district, address of holder, of mortgagee, block number, offered under gazette of, nature of transfer, applicant and transferees, date of transfer, registered no. of transfer, application with date received, area applied for date dealt with, result, term of lease, document of lease, executed, registered, factors necessitating adjustment as granted, date takes effect, area, annual rent and remarks. Tje reverse of the card records rates of annual rental payable by . In each year, to (date) amount, then have year, amount due, payment made with rent, penalty, receipt number and remarks North or Central and location have been stamped on the cards following the pastoral lease numbers. The cards are recorded from 1893 to 1923.
